I spent the afternoon arranging our books by size and color (and it’s so satisfying and looks amazing) and my partner came home and stared in shock at the bookcase and then said “i’m a librarian, you can’t do this.”

him: you split up all the song of ice and fire books

me: yeah i know, they’re all primary colors, it’s perfect

him: [self-destructs]

You’re a monster

As a former bookstore employee, this hurts my soul. I mean, sure it looks nice, but how do you find anything?

it has occurred me during this process that apparently not everyone thinks about books by what color they are? like, literally when i’m looking for a book, i picture it in my mind. i have a very…tactile experience with the books i read and idk! i thought everyone did that lol.

my partner was like “how will i find [this book] for instance” and i replied “easy, it’s purple” and he looked at me like i was a witch.

OP your brain is neat and I love you for it you funky little color-coded cupcake. But you’re still a monster.

“why do we even need ao3/ why won’t they censor content i don’t like/ what’s that money going towards”

it’s going towards not arbitrarily deleting all your fucking blogs overnight because yahoo had a shareholders meeting, that’s what the fuck it’s going towards. if you don’t own it, they can yank the cord whenever they feel like it, for whatever reason, using whatever wobbly catch-all algorithm they want, and that is exactly what the fuck we’ve been telling you. “wellll i’m not a porn blog, it’s not going to affect me,” oh worm?? you sure?? this website is suddenly gonna be capable of censoring posted content with surgical precision? give ao3 ten bucks immediately and get real

FINALLY ITS DONE
I had so much feelings when i first became a teacher in October.

A teacher has so much works to do apart than teaching,
writing
reports, recording students’ data, key-in their info, decorating the
classroom, ensuring if the students are safe, having program/school
activities etcand too many roles they have to play when they face to different situations, a police, a counselor, a parent, a cleaner….
well i cant list them down but i am sure every teacher goes through these…

But still there’e something i appreciate too, a teacher’s happiness is simple, that is,
when the students do their best and had some improvement in their studies (AND listen to teachers, pretty please) so i drew the second pic too.

i believe all the occupations in this world had their own challenges,

so PLEASE DONT TOO AFRAID TO BECOME A TEACHER!

SALUTE TO THE TEACHERS ALL AROUND THE WORLD!
